Arrive at Srinagar and you will be received with a warm welcome by our representative. He will drive you to the houseboat. Check in and relax. Later go out for a walk on Boulevard Road and capture wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Now it’s time for a shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake dotted with lovely lotus flowers. The sunset views are amazing while enjoying the shikara ride. In the late evening, you can go shopping in Srinagar. The famous shopping items include dry fruits, kesar, pashmina shawl, papier mache items, walnut wood crafts, etc. Spend the night at the houseboat. Post breakfast, get ready to enjoy the charm of the popular attractions of Srinagar. To begin with, our representative will escort you to the fascinating Shalimar Bagh which was built in 1619 by the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. This garden blooms with various flowers and trees, and has lovely architecture. Next, we head to Chashme Shahi, another delightful garden dating back to the Mughal era. It boasts an enchanting terrace garden, pools of water, walkways, and a variety of plants. Next on the list is the Hazratbal Shrine, known to house a relic called Moi-e-Muqqadas. Post breakfast, we will set out on the excursion to Pahalgam to explore its famous attractions. En route, you will pass by saffron fields which during the season sprout with purple blossoms. It is a truly delightful sight! Then we arrive at the main fascination of the Pahalgam visit, the entrancing Betaab Valley which got its name from the hit Bollywood movie Betaab which was shot here. It is an enchanting place with lavish plant life, superb mountains, astonishing meadows, exquisite streams and much more. Also, this valley is navigated by the delightful Lidder Stream.
Subsequent to partaking in the appeal of Betaab Valley, we will head to Chandanwari (7 km). It is a beautiful valley situated at an elevation of 2,895 m. It is the beginning stage of the renowned journey of Hindus, the Amarnath Yatra.
