The main draws of Srinagar are its lively houseboats and Shikaras on Dal Lake, gondola-type rowboats, floating vegetable market, lush green Mughal-age gardens, stunning landscapes and serene lakes.
Apart from Srinagar, our 03 Nights 04 Days celestial Kashmir trip itinerary also includes popular destinations such as Pahalgam and Gulmarg. A day trip to Pahalgam and Gulmarg lets you experience the towering Himalayan ranges draped in snow, mighty glaciers, scenic meadows and valleys, countryside huts and pristine rivers.
It will not be wrong to say that Kashmir has been inspiring Bollywood for decades now. If you are lucky enough, you can also catch a movie shooting here in real-time. Doesn’t it stir excitement in you? If yes, think no more and book our 03 Nights 04 Days Kashmir tour package now.
Upon your arrival in Srinagar, our representative will welcome you with a warm greeting and escort you to your hotel or houseboat and help you with the check-in process. Once you are well-rested you can begin with your sightseeing tour in the city.
Begin with a visit to the famous Mughal Gardens. Built by Emperor Jahangir, these gardens offer a majestic view of terraced lawns, cascading fountains, bright flowerbeds, and panoramic views of the Dal Lake. Visit Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and other beautiful gardens located on the eastern bank of Dal Lake. These beautiful gardens boast of Mughal architecture and the lovely flowers and bushes that they house.
Next head to Chashme Shahi. Located in the Zabarwan mountain range near the Raj Bhawan, this garden overlooks the Dal Lake and offers mesmerising views of colourful flowers, sculpted fountains, natural springs and more. About 2 km. away from the garden is the Pari Mahal where Dara Shikoh used to learn astrology. This six terraced garden is also popularly known as ‘The Palace of Fairies’ for it looks straight out of a fairy tale.
In the evening, enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride in Dal Lake. Soak in the scenic view of snow-covered mountains while relaxing during the ride.
Post this tiring day, return to your houseboat / hotel for dinner and a night stay.
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and leave for your excursion to Pahalgam. Pahalgam is a serene hill town located on the bank of the beautiful Lidder River. It attracts tourists with its scenic views, beautiful landscapes, meadows and activities like trekking, river rafting, fishing and more.
En route visit Saffron fields and Avantipura Cricket bat factory. A walk amidst the Saffron fields in colourful purple flowers is certainly a beautiful experience. Saffron flowers are sweet smelling and thus you can experience a sweet aroma in the air while walking here.
On reaching Pahalgam, you can explore Lidder valley at your own cost. It is a popular as well as an offbeat tourist destination. The Lidder River cascades across this picturesque valley, offering it an eye-pleasing view. Enjoy vast green landscapes in the backdrop of Himalayan peaks while praising the unmatched beauty of nature.
Optionally, you can also explore other sightseeing places such as:
Option 1: Visit Aru Valley which is a small village situated 15 km upstream of the Lidder River. It is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake and offers stunning views of scenic meadows, lakes and mountains.
Option 2: Visit Chandanwari which is situated 16 km from Pahalgam. It is the starting point of sacred Amarnath Yatra. One can relax in this peaceful yet scenic destination. The place is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge. En route, you can pay a visit to Hajan which is a popular picnic spot and Betaab Valley where the famous Bollywood movie Betaab was shot.
Option 3: If you are too tired to visit any sightseeing location, you can choose to sit alongside or enjoy leisurely walks in the pine forest along River Lidder.
Option 4: If you have kids travelling along, you must opt for a pony ride to Baisaran meadow. The place is known as a top sightseeing destination and is referred to as mini-Switzerland because of its picturesque beauty. It is a hilltop green meadow surrounded by dense pine forests and snow-capped mountains.
After touring Pahalgam, head back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay are in the hotel at Srinagar.
Yet another road trip is on your itinerary today. So, make sure you have an early breakfast, and leave for your road trip to Gulmarg after you check out from the hotel.
Once you arrive in Gulmarg, finish your check-in process and take some rest before you head out for your sightseeing tour. You can enjoy leisurely walks with your loved one on the lush green meadows and with the picturesque backdrop of snow-capped mountains. If weather permits, you can also catch a glimpse of Nanga Parbhat, the ninth-highest mountain in the world.
The day is at leisure but you can opt to tour around at your own cost.
Enjoy the Gondola Ride that takes you from Gulmarg resort to Kongdoori Station. It is considered to be the second-highest and second-longest ride in the world. The highlight of this ride is the majestic view of the Himalayan Mountain Ranges.
You can also enjoy Pony Ride to Khilanmarg or have a short 3 to 4 hours trek up to Khilanmarg. Chair lifts for mountain ride are also available.
Later, you will return to your hotel for a night stay and a hot dinner meal.
