ATTRACTION OF LADAKH: SANKAR MONASTERY

Some of these paintings comprises of Tibetan calendar, rules to be followed by the monks and much more. Visitors can also find the effigy of Goddess Tara, the main deity of Sankar Monastery above the Du Khang, with 1,000 arms and 1,000 heads.
