FESTIVAL IN LADAKH – KARSHAGUSTOR FESTIVAL

The holy Stongdey Monastery in the scenic Zanskar Valley is revered as one of the most sacred monasteries among the Gelugpa Buddhists. Located around 18km from Padum, this ancient monastery, on the 28th and 29th day of the eleventh month of Tibetan calendar, hosts the Stongdey Gustor Festival.
