  • Yusmarg: Nestled in the snow covered peaks of Pir Panjal mountain range, this beautiful alpine valley called Yusmarg offers a captivating view of the nature. You will slowly find yourself in the lap of nature as you take a leisurely walk through the banks of a frothy river Doodhganga. Situated at a distance of 47 kms from Srinagar, Yusmarg is a place best suitable for adventure tourism. The natives here believed that Jesus came and stayed here for some time due to which it is named as Yusmarg, which, in Kashmiri means, ‘the meadow of Jesus’.   • Gurez: A perfect juxtaposition of mountains, rivers, valleys, flora and fauna forms the most beautiful place on the land of Kashmir known as Gurez. Located at a distance of about 123 kms from Srinagar, Gurez is a valley located high in the Himalayas. Unfold the beauty of nature here as you trek up to the hills. If luck favours, you might get a chance to spot a Himalayan brown bear or a snow leopard here as this place is famous for its diverse fauna and wildlife. ‘Habba Khatoon’ mountain peak, named after a famous Kashmiri poetess, is the main attraction of the valley. A splendid view is created when the rays of sun falls on the sparkling water of river Kishanganga behind the tall mountains of the valley. This untouched and less explored valley of Kashmir is definitely not the one to miss on your trip.
